screen went dark yesterday, can see light at split line but nothing comes up on screen. can see screen try to light up when i push home button. Replace screen last July with ifixit part worked great until now . I did all the checks and opened phone looked for loose connectors none noted, looked for burned filter under magnification none noted. What is next step?
You have checked the connectors and you say it has backlight. So the only thing left do is try a replacement screen.
