my son was playing with my dog, and the dogs toy hit the screen and now when its powered up, its all black and there is a white impact star where the toy hit it, is this repairable or not???
@waynebuck without seeing the actuall damage and going by your description alone, it sounds like you need a new LCD panel. Those are extremely hard to come by and if you do find them, the cost is usually higher that a new TV. Best option would be to find a broken (other than the LCD) TV and harvest the screen from that one.
