Chosen Solution
After plugging the screen in many times before and it working. suddenly it stoped responding to touch so I checked to make sure the cables were connected properly and they were I restarted it but just can’t understand why the touch is unresponsive
Inspect the flex cables. If you’re not careful when installing the new screen on the frame, you can pinch the cables between the screen and frame, resulting in either creasing or tearing the cables. Learned that lesson the hard way on a XS max screen last month…
