Hi. I dropped my iPhone 6S and the screen cracked, although it was still working. I bought a new screen and was assured it is of good quality. However, after replacing it I found that after the phone wake the screen is unresponsive. I then put it back to sleep and wake it again, then it will respond fine. Even for the rest of the time I use it. It happens most of the time when I use the home button to wake it. Also, when it sleep and I get a call I cant answer because the screen does not respond. As for the rest everything works just fine. Any advice will help. Thanks
This could be a number of things:
- Bad aftermarket screen
- Screen forced in without bending dented frame corners or sides of frame back.
- Whole iPhone metal housing bent enough that the screen does not sit flat on the phone.
- Power + Home button hold for 10 seconds to hard shutdown phone not tried yet.
