Chosen Solution
So I successfully replaced the lightning port on my son’s iPhone 7+. However, when I put it all back together, the screen wasn’t responding. I thought maybe something was wrong with the screen, so I bought a new one from ifixit. It doesn’t work either. Any pointers on where I might have goofed up in the lightning port repair that I might could check to see if I can fix it? Or have I murdered the thing? (THANKS)
Check for any dislodged or missing components around the screen connectors. This can happen accidentally if not careful unplugging the antenna and screen cables.
