So I had dropped my phone and the screen went black but there was still light behind the screen. But I held the home button and lock button and light turned off and never came back on. So I replaced the screen and it still doesn’t work? I was thinking the battery?

It is possible that your replacement screen is defective.If you connect your phone to an iTunes enabled computer, does iTunes recognize your phone? If it does, this could indicate a defective screen or damaged LCD or backlight circuit.Did you unplug the battery before changing the screen?
