Chosen Solution
This is my first 3 gen mini. I have done tons of 1st and 2nd Gen with no problem. My problem with this one is the home button will not physically fit. The screen is a XIAO MO GU from amazon. I have also used over a dozen of their screens with no problems. Any idea?
Bad glass. Most likely a manufacture defect. Didn’t make the home button hole large enough for it to fit evenly. I would send it back! Buy from iFixit. You may spend extra, but you get premium quality and a lifetime warranty comes with it.
