So I started an ipad mini 2 screen replacement for a customer. Sadly, I broke the lcd while removing the heat shield. So I ordered a new lcd for the customer and when it arrived I installed it with now issues (seemingly). Now the lcd does light up however it does not display any image at all. The flex cable was slightly bent when I got the new lcd is that the issue? Please help I did try a hard reset and that did not fix the issue. Also, I shined a light on the lcd to see if there is a faint image and there is not a faint image on the lcd.
Hi There, Tried changing the LCD. Probably you might have bent the flex cable for LCD Which might be faulty or the LCD won’t be OEM Parts. Some of the China parts give problem. Whenever you get parts. first check before installing to avoid problem.
