Please help, saw this screen when I turn on the laptop. Need replacement or just the connector or ribbon cable problem? Thanks !
Yep! You need a new display! Something hit or pressed the lid cracking it or you had something resting on the keyboard so when you closed the lid it pressed against the display damaging it from that direction. Sadly, finding a replacement display will take a bit of work as COVID has messed up the spare parts marketplace.
