Screen goes dim without a connection to an external monitor. Works fine with an external monitor. By itself it sometimes works but will flicker every once in a while. Or it will just remain very dim. F2 key is unresponsive during these fits. Screen returns once external display is plugged in. I have a new logic board and new battery installed. The display problem existed before this repair.
Flickering is quite often related to LVDS cable issues. If logic board was replaced I guess it was for a reason..if that involved liquid damage or image issues it’s likely cable was damaged and needs replacement too.
