Hi, I’m having problems with my MacBook Pro Retina 15". It started happening a while ago and it got worse with time. When I try to turn on my MacBook, I hear the chime, and the computer boots into OSX but the screen remains turned off. I’m able to login to the Mac using remote desktop. Sometimes turning it off and on works, but usually it takes like 50 times turning on and off the Mac so the screen turns on. When in turns on everything works OK, switching from Integrated to discreet GPU works, 3D works OK, tested in Cinebench. But when I manage to login I get an error message that GPU Kernel panic happened. It’s strange because when I manage to turn it on, everything works super fine until I put the computer to sleep. I’m guessing it’s some kind of a GPU issue, idk if gpu reballing is possible. Update (07/27/2018) This is the error report that I’m getting after I manage to boot MacBook:

This is what caused Macbook not to work : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gH1gBRn… I’ve fixed the problem by inserting rubber on chip which pushes it to the motherboard. I hope this will be helpful to someone with this problem.

Try putting a flashlight to the back of the MacBook shining through the Apple logo and see if you see anything at startup, if you do try running the built it Apple Diagnostics tool. Basically just hold the D key at startup but if you’d like to read more here’s the link. Apple Diagnostics
