iPhone X screen not responsive but get notifications. did hard reset but no help. no drop, no water, or nothing just issue started. even no update. it happened about few month ago several time but start working its own and one time wont work and apple tech ask me to hard re boot so i did and worked. phone never droped thank you

Apple covers this in their service program, don’t try to repair this yourself.

It sounds like a damaged/defective screen to me. The repair costs on the X is quite high so you may want to drop by a repair shop to see if a replacement screen will solve the problem. If it doesn’t then it won’t really cost you anything as opposed to ordering a screen for yourself.

so i got it fixed. i knew the screen is good but probably conflict within two programs. i did hard restart several time no help. called apple and they said screen is bad and take it to best buy. so i decided to give a last try. hold down up volume or down volume key WITH HOLDING POWER BUTTON, when it goes to power off, medical id and sos screen just keep pushing any button until you see a window from bottom pop up, cancel , voice over and one other thing. just leave the device like this and let the battery drained, once the battery drained wait couple of hours and charge it through the computer port. i tried this with the wall charger and did not work. i think issue was me unlocking with face id and same time attempted to unlock by sliding the bar up to unlock with the pass-code. no patience!! moral of the story is, human is faster then technology. good luck
