When screen cable is plugged into the motherboard laptop isn’t powering on. When the cable is unplugged laptop or powering on
@chrissmall sounds like either a bad LCD or a bad cable. You also want to check the cable connector under a microscope to see if there are any pins that are crossing etc. If not then start with a new LCD
