Solved Screen Is Not Working Macbook Air 13 Early 2017

The screen on this macbook air (model A1466) is not working (as pictured). I connected the computer to an external display and everything works fine. What causes this, and how do I fix it? I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the screen connector, but this didn’t help at all.
