I removed the screen from my iPhone. Does a screen have to be installed to access any of the data? I know i know…backup first THEN repair. I’m trying to save myself from buying a replacement screen.
You have to be able to use the phone to back up data you usually have to trust computers so you can backup data. So yes you will need a screen.
