Solved Screen Is Black But Tablet Is Still On Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

my tablet will still turn on and off and play music and stuff but the screen is black and you can only faintly see it in a certain light

check the lcd ribbon is connected properly as this could cause a black screen if its even out a tiny bit, make sure the line on the ribbon matches up with the line on the motherboard
