Hi My XR got water in it lest summer and it’s had these bright patches remain even thought the phone works perfectly. I’m wondering if it’s a screen replacement or if I can take it apart and clean to restore it. Thanks
A proper screen replacement will be able to fix your issue. Most shops won’t warranty the repair as it had water damage previously. There is no way to “clean” the water out of the screen, only a replacement will work.
