I broke my phone an went to get the screen fixed an after I got it fixed i tried turning it on and it goes to the apple Icon an the turns red an goes off sometimes it stays on the apple icon for a really long time so I have to hold the home an lock button to make it stop what is wrong with my phone an I don’t want to lose all my pictures an stuff on there help please
This is a belated answer so hopefully it can be of use to folks who search for and find this question. The first thing to suspect here is a repair gone wrong. Normally, the shop, and the customer for that matter, should always test the phone in full before dropping it off and before leaving. Sometimes there are unintended consequences that occur during a repair and that’s the only way to know for certain if the problem. Ideally, you should always go back to the shop and have them take a look at it and take responsibility if the issue was caused by their error. If it’s too late for that, Red Screen Flash can be cause by a bad FCAM/Sensor Flex so you could try to disconnect it to see if that helps. If it still flashes red and reboots, try disconnecting the entire screen assembly and connect it to iTunes to see if it boots properly and is recognized by the computer. If it does, then you have a defective screen. If it doesn’t, then you probably have logic board damage.
