Hi, I’ve had bars and glitches appear on my MacBook Pro 2017 13” Touch Bar. They are seemingly out of the blue. The screen went back to normal at certain angles for a little while, but now they appear at every angle. It isn’t a software issue, I’ve reset the SMC, NVRAM, etc Even the OS with Apple Support but still nothing. An external monitor works fine, so I don’t think its a graphics issue either. The laptop is out of warranty and my local Apple Store reseller has quoted £500 to replace the entire screen (they haven’t looked at it). In my opinion I think it may be a display cable or something, so I am looking to replace it myself. Here’s a pic of the screen:

Sadly you’re facing a similar issue as this The design flaw behind the MacBook Pro’s “Stage Light” effect In your case the video cable is damaged between the LCD and the T-CON board. There is no way to fix this as the cable is permanently mounted to the LCD and the T-CON board. Here’s a better breakdown of the cables
So you’ll need to pay for the replacement display - Sorry ;-{
