Just replaced the battery on my iPhone SE. After finishing the the repair the screen was occasionally freezing and registering phantom touches. I tried reseting with the home and power button with no luck. Disassembled blew off the connectors with canned air then reassembled. Now the problem is worse. Any ideas how I can fix the problem? This was my first phone repair so I tried to be as careful as I could and was sure to make sure all the screws went in the correct places.
The 5 series of iPhones like the iPhone 5/5C/5S/SE are notorious for having delicate displays and often have display issues after battery replacement, even if you don’t disconnect the display and I speak from experience. Go ahead and order a replacement screen kit from iFixit and you should be good.
