I have this issue where if I apply pressure on bottom of my Mac while picking it up the screen will glitch and my computer will turn off or restart. The area that you press to make this occur is where the battery and Ram sit, I popped off the back plate to see if any cables were pinched but they all looked in order one thing I did notice is the screws from the battery are missing. The Mac was a referb and works great untill pressure is applied to that spot.
I’d first check to see if the battery is swollen. Next press on the battery to logic board connector to make sure it is fully seated. Next, replace the battery screws. Those try-star screws should be available on eBay (you only need a couple. While you are waiting for the screws, use some double sided tape to hold the battery in place.
