Hello, I got a iPhone 6 in these days that had screen flickering and touch faliure sometimes and had white or blue lines over the screen. So obviously I replaced the screen first and turned it on and it still had some white lines over the screen. And the logic board got verry hot where touch ic’s are located. I figured it would be a bad Mason so I replaced 2 times already with new ic and also reballed cumulus and still the exactly same problems. Not sure exactly which part is getting so hot, but that place gets too hot to touch just like before. Sometimes when I turn it on, the touch works and other times the screen gets white and blue lines all over and touch is not responding. Any ideas what to look for next?

I would check the power rails feeding the Touch IC’s to see if everything measures okay. Also look for bridged components that could be causing a partial short, hence excess current. I would check the coil directly above Meson, L2401. It has a tendency to crack or have a bad solder connection as it is on the fault line as well. Whenever I replace a Meson, I always reflow it to be certain. If it is cracked, I would replace it. Try applying some freeze spray (locally) to see what melts first, that may give you some guidance.
