the lcd ic cracked not just the glass but in the bottom has a small black dot. If i use full brightness the lcd work really good like no flawless but when i low the brightness the screen goes crazy flickering and fading from up to down. so if the screen is bad why would it work in full brightness
The LCD panel has been damaged after drop making the screen not display properly, my S8+ had a black dot on the bottom right and had the same symptoms. The only way to get this working properly again is to get the screen replaced.
