Hi Everyone, thanks in advance for any help or answers.. but i replaced the screen and battery on my iphone 6 and now the phone screen will randomly black out from time to time and when i press the power button it is back to the lock screen. What is the cause of this? once i unlock the phone again its fine but will black out soon again afterwards :(
Hi Ryan, You may have received a faulty screen, first try rule this out, by getting another screen, and seeing if that works fine. If this doesn’t solve your issue, it could be damage to the backlight. :-)
Try fitting the lcd back plate a bit differently. If you place the flex cable over the top of the back plate and tape it in position it can stop the screen blacking out.
