Hey there, basically my phone took a bad crack, got it repaired recently, soon after the repair and some small knocks the screen slowly became less and less responsive, starting on the left side and now the entire screen. It also has moments of madness where it will randomly type or move and it has an annoying habit of putting my password (wrong of course) and disabling my phone! Could anybody give an explanation or know if it’s reparable Thank you so much for any help!
Okay there are two things that cause this issue:
- A faulty screen.
- The screen was installed in an iPhone frame that appears to have severe bends or dent causing the screen to be squished which causes the glass to flex and interfere with the digitizer (touch screen) of the screen and in result ghost touching (touching by itself). To fix this issue: The screen may need to most likely be replaced again as it probably has gone faulty from being flexed (bent). The best thing to do is get the iPhone frame straightened out first if it’s bent, dented at the corners or edge of the iPhone metal housing, then replace the screen if the issue still persists.
