Chosen Solution
So I bought a replacement front panel for an Iphone 4S and the replacement process went well. But now after I have completed it and put the phone back together, it doesnt work. The backlight of the screen will light up and the phone will vibrate when I plug it in but there’s nothing on the screen. I can connect it to Itunes and it recognizes it, so it seems that everything is functioning OK except for the screen. I have unplugged and reconnected the ribbon cables going the the screen multiple times but it doesnt help. I have also tried to clean them. Does anyone have a solution to this problem??????? Thanks in advance!!!!!!
It common for this to happen some times, But hopefully it not to serous. try a reset - Hold power and home button for a few sec’s.
I am having the same problem the power button does not turn it on. And if I plug it in on charge the screen comes on but is really faint.
