Laptop was droped from short distance and screen cracked and im looking for a way to order a new screen and the company is not really helping me in this
Hello, IT Pro here… Screens can be bought from a verity of different places! You can search from them all across different websites. The most reliable place though would be though the same company that manufactured your laptop. However, not all manufacturers will sell their parts. Its important to remember while searching for your screen to make sure that you double check your model number before ordering! I cant tell you how many people have come to me with the incorrect screen for the laptop they have. Majority of the time you can find some really nice deals on amazon or even Newegg.
I needed to replace screen and video cable, I could find these in local shops but they weren’t 100% compatible. So , after examining for an hour, I ordered them online, one from amazon, anothet from ebay. If you want to order too, just google first few numbers of the bar code behind the screen.
Ok, here is what you do: 1.Order your screen from ebay or amazon and take it to some computer repair shop and get it replaced. Or 2. Call Asus customer care if Your product is till now under warranty. 3. Or just get this all done at computer repair shop. Bdw, where are you from.
