Hello all, guys! After replacing the battery, the issue shown on the photo occured. Some blurred streak at the left side of the screen. As I assembled and turned the phone on, it got a bit warm, and then, after the hard reset the temperature became normal. I didn’t pull out the white streaks from under the original battery completely. Put the new battery on them and thats all. the battery shatters a bit. What’s wrong with the display and how can I fix it?)) Thanks in advance ))
The backlight consists of several optical layers in order to distribute the light from a row of LEDs along the top. (If you have a broken screen it’s instructive to take it apart in order to marvel at its ingenuity.) My guess is that the layers have become very slightly separated as you prised the screen off, or the 2nd LED from the left along the top is no longer in intimate contact with the top of the light diffusing layers. You could try squeezing the layers together along the left hand side and at the top left hand corner, but I suspect you may have to live with it as it is unless you feel like investing in a new screen.
Are you referring to the dark line that’s a few millimetres from the left edge? If so, that could just be caused by an improper connection. Take a look at this guide and follow the steps to properly reconnect the LCD connector. It should give a subtle yet satisfying snap when it is properly connected.
