I recently changed the screen on my 5S when I plugged it in the screen stayed black and the phone would vibrate every 5 seconds and wouldn’t stop. It shows up in iTunes. Can any one tell me what is broken? I don’t think it’s the digitizer because we tried to switch it back to the old screen and the same issue occurred. We also put it into DFU mode and did a factory reset.

Vibrating every 5 seconds means the display is faulty but if you have checked the old screen and same issue check to see if you have damaged any pins on the motherboard when plugging in screen

Thanks that seems to be the most likely. I couldn’t really tell if they were damaged they are fairly tiny I may need to just send it into apple
