Chosen Solution
The screen believes I’m sending it inputs eg thinks I’m pressing the screen. It seems to not do it as much when the screen’s darkness is lower. I have tried to reset it but it does not fix it. Any suggestions on how to fix this Thanks for any responses.
@hshark93 , Harry, Have you tried factory reset, if not you may want to try that and if that does not solve the issue the Ghost touches could be from a bad/faulty digitizer on the phone. I will post links to replacing the digitizer below and a link to just the glass digitizer. If you would like to make things quite a bit simpler there is also a link to the screen assy. which cost more naturally but saves some headaches. Before changing you may want to open the device and check all components for loose/damage/corrosion and reseat all connectors to be sure they are connecting well and try phone. Good luck.
