Chosen Solution

I received yesterday the 3 battery replacements from Ifixit and today I tried to change them. No problem with one 6S, working perfectly after the change. I started with my iphone 7, following the instructions. Old battery removed, new one in place and once I connected everything and before assemble, two things: message on the screen that “Touch Id cannot be activated”, so not working and screen started to show “vibrating images”, front camera working. So I tried to disconnect and connect again LCD and HB connectors several times. Changes as follow: Touch Id never worked again Screen stop vibrations and after that, screen worked fine (quality and touch screen) After a minute, touch screen not working so no fingerpoint sensor. Image quality, fine. Tried to disconnect and connect a few times and now the phone is with black screen and no possible reboot. Is it possible something has been damaged because new battery was not disconnected in the meantime while connecting and disconnecting?. If yes, any advice about what to change? . Initially connections on the logic board and display assembly are fine when looking with a microscope. Thanks

id guess that you have damaged the homebutton, probably its flex cable, or the homebutton extention flex that runs through the screen where it bends 180deg to the connector on the logic board.
