Hi I own an iPhone 7 Plus which I recently dropped a heavy weight on and shattered the screen quit bad the phone was still working fine with touch and colour until I brought it to a phone kiosk to get fixed I think they used a very cheap replacement, since then I get discolouration on half the screen every now and then also it starts crazy ghost touching calling people, opening apps etc this happens even more in really hot weather, I have opened the phone but everything seems fine inside I would appreciate any advice on how to fix this issue. Hey. Logic would indicate it’s a defective screen. You NEED to take it back to them and insist they repair it. You didn’t pay them for a bad screen. It’s almost guaranteed to be a bad screen. There’s always the chance of technician damage,but being the screen works but has a cheap look to it,you need to have them replace it with another one. The touch ic chip is built into the screen flex cable. The touch ic chip is the internal circuit chip that controls touch and processes it. Cheap screens can have a bad chip easily. all I can say is to have it replaced.
