Samsung UN60JU6500f (UN60JU6500FXZA) flashing red light when powered on. I disconnected to the power supply board from the main board and the backlight turned on. I am not sure how to determine if it is the main board or the t-con board. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated! Edit - I reconnected the power supply board to the main board and disconnected the ribbon cable between the t-con board and the main board and the tv would not light up. I assume this is a main board issue.
@holsinger Since you have the backlight turning on you know that it is okay. You do want to measure the voltages from the power board to the main board to make sure that your power board supplies the needed voltages to the main board. If those are correct then it is very highly likely that your TV’s problems are indeed related to a bad main board. Just check those things out first before you go and replace it.
