Hello, I’ve followed some suggestions I’ve seen here but I still can’t get the picture to show on my Samsung un55es6500 model tv. The sound is perfect. I did the flashlight test and didn’t see any pictures so I replaced the t-con board. Issue still remains. When I disconnected the main board from the power supply I can see the led backlights on. So I replaced the main board. Still no progress and I’m looking for ideas. Before I replaced the main board I measured the voltages on the 2 connectors to the led panel. Here is what I got: CNL802A L1 to L4+ 77.9V L1 to L4- 31V CN802B R1+ , R3+ 124.3V R2+ 124.6V R4+ 125V R1 to R4- 77.9V disconnecting the panel connections the voltages on CNL802B jump from 124V to 299V which I assumed it meant the power supply unit is working fine. any help what to check next is appreciated. thanks
Hi @diygurl , Given that audio is OK that means that part of the mainboard is OK i.e. signal processing and audio just no video. I’m assuming that you can change channels etc OK. The power board seems OK for the backlights in that the power board is turned full on when the mainboard is disconnected so that they turn on and stay on and also parts of the mainboard because of the audio. It could still be the power board not turning on when directed by the mainboard but that doesn’t explain the no video Are all the voltages that are usually printed on the power board for the connectors measure OK? Does the TV menu screen work? Check if there is power on fuse F310 on the tcon board (am only going on online search that says the tcon is BN95-00579A or B and that there is a fuse down near the connector back to the mainboard). If there is no power there then it is back to the mainboard or the cable between the two.
