Another ongoing project is my ‘samsung PS50C96HD. Symptoms are Got standby light but no picture or sound it wouldn`t go on i opened the back and checked powerboard first,it had 3 bad capacitors so i replaced them (showing with red tops on photo ) Then put it back in tele and first checked the Va and Vs for voltage ,The Va read 63v which was correct then checked the Vs ,result is nil volts .according to the chart it says “replace psu " so i went no further. Not being able to buy one yet is there anything i should check as in transistors ect so i can replace, if so which ones will i be looking for to check so it will be cheaper to fix ,any ideas guys i will appreciate thnx. Capacitors changed are .1= cx411 on the board…. 25v..1000uf. .2 = cx410 on the board..25v..47uf. .3 = cb402 on the board…10v..1000uf
@moggy01 check the components as they are listed in the service manual point 3 and 4 see what you get with those. This video may also assist you with the FET’s
Hello and thanks for the reply @oldturkey03 oldturkey03 The only clearer markings that i hope show the board number is in these new pictures,I do appreciate the help, Hope i am correct with the numbers specially the BN4400160A (50”)
