It turned off while I was using it and now will not turn on at all.

Hi Veronica, Have you got access to another compatible charger? If so try it and see if the tablet responds in any way. If it does your charger is faulty and needs to be replaced. If you don’t have another charger, you can try connecting it to a PC. It will not charge effectively but it may give an indication that it is alive. If it does, disconnect it from the PC and then purchase a replacement charger. You could also go to a store where they sell chargers and ask if you could try one, a charger that is, off their display models to verify that yours is faulty. It never hurts to ask. If it doesn’t respond at all check to see if your warranty period is still valid and if so contact the manufacturer’s customer support section regarding a warranty repair.

You can try pressing volume up & down and power button altogether. It might restart your device.

thankswhoever said disconnect the charger and hold the shut off for 30 sec and recharge it , it worked, one hour has passed by and it has 84 percent charge left.

Okay, here’s my fixed. I pressed the power for minutes and it wouldn’t turn on. I even tried the 30 secs and plug power in like people here suggested. Still didnt work. People here keep saying cord faulty or port. But i power port on mine looks fine. And the cord I’ve been using for all kind of stuff and it still works. But it won’t charge my tablet. So I actually tried a different cord and plug it into different power adapter. And suddenly it turned on. And now its charging. Someone on here did mention that if the tablets power is out. Your normal charging stuffs won’t work and need to be actually plugged in somewhere legit. Just like a real reboot. So if youre stuck. Just try a new charging cable with an adapter. Goodluck

HI If you plug the tablet in hold the power button for 15 secs release and press the enter button around 30/40 times fast then press the power button again and repeat the process the battery indicator will come on , when that happens press the power button and it will come on. I have had to do this several times and it works, what is more annoying is I cannot find fix for this problem.

If you have this problem unplug battery and short connector on the print with a knife or big screwdriver or something else. After thuis action of unload the Samsung starts again.

Try some of the above with the tablet portion DISCONNECTED from the keyboard. Mine was stuck in a standby state (blinking blue light near the front camera) and a pressed power button off from the keyboard turned it off. Then a power button press booted up the computer.
