SAMGUNG GALAXY TAB A7 10.4 T-500 I just ordered a new LCD flex cable as I was going to hook it up, I know there was 1 broken/damaged pin on the FPC LCD connector, the LCD side where the flex cable slides into, it’s the flat end. Pic #1 FPC with broken pin Pic #2 End of flex that sides into it I HAVE TRIED HOOKING IT UP “AS IS” AND JUST BLACK SCREEN HOWEVER I KNOW ITS ON BC MY ALARMS WENT OFF THIS MORNING Just wondering if there is anyway to get around this or need a FPC connector
Hi @southernmama84 , Unless you’re very good at micro-soldering, replacing the connector (if you can find the correct one) is not an easy job. Probably cheaper and easier to replace the screen. Search online for SM-T500 LCD screen to find suppliers that suit you.
