Tab 3 not overcharged. I have followed videos and advise and have disconnected and reconnected the battery from the board and tried to hold the sequence of different button to get it charging etc.. nothing is happening …. charger clicks in and not loose. Tried many different chargers and sockets and even tried the trickle charge from a pc … help please

@lozc ,Laurac , have you replaced the battery, as it could be faulty. A lot of forums feel a factory reset can fix this type of issue, read and follow the steps in the first link below if you would like to try, all data not backed up will be lost. Reset did not work, The battery, cable/charger, charge port or charging IC may be faulty damaged. Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick. Try a different compatible charger/cord to see if that is the issue. If different compatible charger/cord does not fix and port looks/test good, the battery or connection could be bad, if able to clean battery connections and reconnect/install battery, still not charging battery probably faulty or the charging IC may be bad. If port is found to be bad/loose/damaged , this is really not a repair for the inexperienced because the charge port for your device is soldered to the mother board (2nd link)and the heat generated could cause further damage if not very careful. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. https://www.androidpit.com/forum/602119/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fcqUXtF
