Okay i was repairing my mother cellphone she bought a new one but i still want to get this phone working. First the screen was cracked I changed the LCD assembly The rear camera wasn’t working properly I changed the rear camera And i changed the mid-frame completely It took around 3-4 month from start to finish since the parts were ordered from china and it got pretty long. Then the phone will never boot completely The furthest i can go is download mode and recovery mode I did everything i could to soft reset it I also downloaded the right firmware and re-flashed it I did a full reset Then the phone will not boot up again I removed screen and everything just to see if every connector we’re okay but it is still stuck in boot mode. Also if i let it sit while its booting the phone is getting really hot. Could this be a battery problem i can believe I’m throwing another 10$ on this phone.
Good Morning, I’m under the impression that the phone gets stuck either on the Samsung Logo screen or Carrier Screen (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc). Best way I fixed these is via Samsung Smart Switch. Do note this will be a lost of all the data within the device. Get the Model Number and the Serial Number off the device (typically behind the unit/underneath the battery). Put unit in Download Mode/Odin Mode (Power button, Vol Down, and Home button)Plug unit into computer > Open Smart Switch > Select More (upper right) > Emergency Software Recovery > Click the Device Initialization Tab > Enter Model Number and Serial Number. This should take about 30 mins or so. Once the unit is finished, it will reboot. This will stay on the logo screen for a while since it’s initializing applications, so be patient. Hope this helps
