Chosen Solution
while cleaning the screen some rubbing alcohol leaked into the device. Currently i have the iPod Touch shut down and on my night stand, there are dark spots in the lower left hand corner and center of the iPod, heres a picture of whats going on with my iPod Picture thanks for the help, hope this is enough detail. the random colors on the screen are from a reflective screen cover i have on my iPod.
Let it sit for a few days till the alcohol dissipates.
