I just replaced my battery with a NEW battery from ifixit and their tool kit. My phone is now shutting down and rebooting itself every 5 min or so. It’s now USELESS!! I followed the install directions to a T – implicitly. I have done everything listed in the ifixit guide to remedy this. Hard reboot, plugging my phone into my computer and doing the itunes thing, hard reset of the phone, resetting the factory settings in the phone, EVERYTHING!! What else can I try to get my phone back to functioning normally? Could the NEW battery– got it 3 days ago– be bad? Please help as I’m extremely disappointed in this “simple replacement battery process”. This SUCKS as I need my phone for business and health reasons in case I have a medical episode. Thanks
Hello, I would recommend that you personally contact Ifixit by email so you figure things out. Because you have One year warranty with this product. And If you followed guide to the T then the battery is bad. How to replace the battery in your iPhone 5s
