I’ve been asked to repair an IPhone 6 but the screws to open it are really rounded off they are just circles now. No grip on anything. The elastic band and glue in the head tricks don’t work. Is my only option to use a fine metal drill bit and drill it out? Are there precision screw extractors for things like this?
Hi Jaymie, These extractors might do the trick Precision Screw Extractor Set I would suggest against drilling off the heads as removing the rest of the screw can be even more difficult.
