‘‘‘MY DEVICE WASNT MENTIONED : ASUS ROG GL753VD-DS71 17.3" Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7700HQ (2.80 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 16 GB Memory 1 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop’’’ I changed a power setting on the ROG Center, a few weeks prior. After two days, My laptop had an update and had begun to freeze and did not work further– till I’d have to press the power button for it to be usable. It now does this this every 24 to 36 hours (estimate)? I close my laptop almost every day and I dont know if that’s the reason. But, i started doing some research then realized: It could have been the ROG center. So i thought, okay, simple fix, I’ll just revert those changes. NOPE. The button does nothing but, show that it’s processing on my mouse/arrow. I’d wait a while, nothing. I’d restart my cp, nothing. I don’t know what to do. Please help :)
Delete the app. Download the appropriate drivers Right click and extract the ZIP Check for subfolders marked setup.exe Select update or install drivers Allow unit to reboot ;) Not an expert, I asked on asus chat. Fixed it babeeee
have you tried to system restore ?
search rog gaming center , open and activate rog key! very easy! good luck!
So, I dont mean to revive a REALLY old question, but i have been plagued with this issue myself for a long time with my ROG STRIX GL702VSK Laptop. ROG Gaming Center worked fine for around a month, then it all of a sudden stopped working. The ROG Key would not work, nothing. I would get the “ROG Gaming Center is initializing” popout, then nothing. I went digging around in the directory for the program (in my case it was “C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ROG Gaming Center”) and i found an executable file (.exe) by the name of “LaunchROGGamingCenter.exe”. I ran this program as an administrator, and the application OPENED without issues! i made a shortcut on my desktop, and now it is as reliable as the day i got the laptop! Hope that helps somebody!
