Chosen Solution

While trying to reduce noise on my PS4, I ripped off the power supply unit connector pad. Do you think I can do it myself by soldering it back on, or do I need it to send it to repair? In that case, I may as well buy the ps5. Images below:

@ps4brokensupply Yes, two of the solder pads look still good enough for a solder repair. For the third and fourth one (red) looks like you can run jumpers from the connector to the end of the trace (or anywhere in between). Just carefully remove the solder mask (the stuff that covers the copper traces)with a fine sharp instrument (I use a scalpel and use it carefully by scraping away the mask) then solder a jumper wire to that trace. It’s not a terribly difficult job just tedious and take your time while doing so. Of course if you have never solder on a circuit board, this will even be trickier. There are some good people on here that do board repair and microsoldering that could possibly help you out.

not your board but used this to show you the jumpers better. Assess the damage on the connector as well. You may need a new one. Check with @tronicsfix and see if he can help you out further
