Hi, I just bought the right speaker replacement for my MBP 16”. I saw from the teardown video of my machine that it’s supposed to be glued on the chassis (although it’s not shown how to remove it). I will be removing the old broken one and replacing it with the new one, so where should I find the glue to attach it? And which type/brand of glue should I look for? Thanks for anyone willing to help.
You want hot glue which is tacky Use a heat gun or hair drier to warm the uppercase to soften the glue. Use care as you don’t want to melt the keys nor damage the touch bar or display use foil protect them. Take care it doesn’t take much glue note the placement and the amount Apple used
