Troubleshooting a waterspill-damaged, cleaned, Early 2015 13" Retina MBP which runs on battery power only, ignoring DC power. Both logic board and DC-in board had some signs of water damage so I need to localize the problem to one of these first. Is the pin-out of the encircled connector known? My first step would be to check the voltages there. Update (07/11/2019) Thanks, Dan! The logic board receives 16.7V, so the Magsafe board must be OK. Fuse 470 is fine as well. CoconutBattery is a great tip, I’ll run it as soon as my friend, who has the FV2 key, is back in town.

Here’s the pinouts:

I just test the continuity of the lines and if the 1-wire is shorted out with either the + or - lines. Here’s the replacement part MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Early 2015) MagSafe 2 DC-In Board More often when I see this problem to MOSFET’s or comparator logic is damaged. How about running CoconutBattery and posting a snapshot of the main window here for us to see. Often times it offers clues on what’s needed.
