hello, i have a iphone 6 plus jailbroken running 9.3.3 but i want to do a restore via itunes but the touch ID and HOME BUTTON doesn’t work i use the on screen home button ,i was wondering if i can proceed without getting any error such as error 53?? (i heard about).
Resetting network settings sometimes fixes touch ID not working if phone hasn’t been repaired before.
The error 53 is no longer an issue. Apple resolved the issue about 6 months ago. The error 53 came from the original home button was paired with the motherboard of the phone. If the home button was replaced the home button was no longer paired with the motherboard giving the error 53. If you replaced the home button on this phone you will not have Touch ID (which doesn’t matter because you don’t have it now) but the home button should work
