While taking of the EMI Shield of the Qualcomm chip I ripped of two tiny SMD parts. I would like to replace these but do not know what these are. Can anybody tell me, what tiny SMD parts are sitting beside the battery connector frame of an iPhone 5s? There are 7 of them two left hand side, two in the middle and three right hand side if you are looking from the connector frame towards the Qualcomm IC. They sit between the connector frame and the soldering points of the EMI shield. Size smaller than 1 mm. Color between the solders seems to be black. I would appreciate to get some help. Cheers, Xaver

Xaver–only one component back there is really important–FL 11 which on yours is intact. From memory, I think both of your components are 56pf capacitors. I don’t think you’ll notice any functional defect if you leave them off, and the act of replacing them is risky.

I have the same problem.. mine wont turn on. when i connect with itunes it will turn on but directly into restore mode and i get the error 2006/2006.. im looking for a place where they can fix this this is so tiny u cant solder it here i found the capicitor http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en

Do a jumper, if you dont get any solutions. Nobody knows if this works…
