I have a spare working remote control for the above TV. Is there a method in which I can reprogram the remote for use by a none Samsung TV. Example a Sony or an LG or even a OEM TV?
Hi, Short answer - NO. Long answer - Maybe. if you have necessary chip programming equipment, possibly a new comparable chip and know all the necessary codes for the new device you wish to control. If you don’t want to send it to landfill, try selling it online. Remotes are always failing and people usually have to buy universal remotes as theirs is no longer available or are too expensive.
