I couldn’t have described my problem anywhere else, as I was getting bizarre results for my searches. The problem that I am facing is that the small metal piece(The part that goes inside the phone while charging) on the lightning cable broke and I don’t know what to do, I browsed how can I repair the jack or something like that, but the repairing involved some serious precision work(Clipping/precise soldering) and I don’t want to follow that currently, Meanwhile a thought came to my mind, but I’m not sure if it is even going to work or not?I was thinking that instead of scrapping the plastic out and carry on with the soldering stuff, what I can do is maybe take a lightning charger cable(Official/alternate)… Chop it off and then connect the wires with my Earpods.I wanted to know if it is going to work? If yes, then will I be able to get all the features intact? Like using Mic, Controlling volume up and down? Don’t lose the quality of music on my Earpods?

No, soldering a lightning cable to the earpods will not work. This is because there is a DAC in the lightning connector of the EarPods that is not in a normal lightning cable. What you need to to is to buy a 3.5mm to lightning adapter and chop the 3.5mm end off.
